Painting and other updates....

Since returning from vacation we have been painting up a storm. ( Hence, the reason no updated pics of FL yet) The entire house was primed/contractor painted already, but it was so chalky that I thought it warranted REAL paint.

Daddy was the only one brave enough to get up on the scaffolding to paint the living room wall.

My bathtub has FINALLY arrived...  The downstairs bath needs to be dry walled and finished/painted this week.

Our bedroom downstairs.  Tan and Burgundy

Living room downstairs... 'creamy tan' that actually looks light yellow.

Sonshine's room... grey

All the log parts of the house are stained and sealed.  Its darker than before.  We really like the color, but the darker color makes caulk and glue marks easy to see... :(

Kitchen is light yellow and the tongue and groove ceiling in installed.

Ceiling in Mom's room was not replaced... :(
It stinks... literally and the stain looks weird because of the smoke patterns.  Even though the smoke was soda blasted off, it still stinks and looks off.  They are fixing it!!!  (Somehow?!?!)   :)
You can see on the ceiling above the doorway and just to the left is darker and shiny... weird?!

Loft stained and T&G ceiling is started.

Loft T&G ceiling.

Mr. "What about me?"  His feelings are literally hurt if you do not let him help...  so we let him make a mess help.

Mom's bedroom.  We call is Robin Egg Blue... and tease her that all the robins are out on the deck wanting their eggs back!
Seriously I am happy she went out of her normal and picked something new and different!!!!

Laundry room/ entry way... tan

Mom's bathroom... 'tealish' blue

No pics of Shawn because he has chosen to not go in the house until its time to move in... he wants to be SURPRISED!

Flooring and cabinets this week and next!!!
