We went to fleet farm the other AM to get some mulch for our last (yeah right!) garden we are making. Chris just rebuilt the trailer so we figured we were "good 2 go!" And of course in my mind "more is better...hate to run out!", so we get 2, yes
We are putzing down the back roads at 25ish miles per hour. We start to shake. We start to rattle. We start to look concern. Mason starts to laugh, because in his mind Mom and Dad are just making faces for fun! :)
We of course pull over and see the lug nut (sp?) lying right beside the tire on the road...OOPS! I say, "Honey, is that our screw thingy?" Dad does not look amused... Our load was too heavy!
I KNOW! Shocking right!?!?!?
Well, we called for help. Help came... eventually... We made it home. Our garden did not get done that day... it got done the next day.
No harm done, and a funny story was made. Oh, AND Dad's trailer now has new "screw thingys" and its all "good 2 go!"
Uh-oh! I spy... 1 frustrated Daddy 1 2 pallets of mulch (they weigh more than you would think!)
I spy... 1 lost lug nut. AKA, "screw thingy" 1 icky spider 1 smooshed tire (overweight just doesn't sound nice!)
I spy... 2 bags cement for putting the yard light up. 5 pots of flowers for planting (duh!) 1 bag fertilizer 1 cute toddler playing in the back of the van
