Mason followed us to the back rock garden. Mom and Chris had just cleaned out the fountain pond and filled it earlier in the day. I was snapping a few pics and I heard Mom say, "Mason don't play in the water". Neither Granny or I could see Mason... I wondered why she said that, then I thought... "Didn't I just hear a splash?" I peaked around a rock to look at the little, but deep pond... I seen nothing. I kept looking though because I didn't see Peanut Brittle either. All of a sudden he came shooting to the surface... I seen wet, red curls over the rock wall. Yikes! Heart rate=200MPH!
Well, no serious harm done. I found out I can still move lickety split ("if i hafta...") But the water was fresh and therefore COLD! Mason was scared, stunned, and coughing/crying. I lifted him out and carried him away dripping wet (despite my clean scrubs) and as we walked by the pond he says, "Dat... No! No!" Think he learned?
There was a frog in the pond who might be missing his company...

And then there is the plants I was checking before Mason scared the tar out of me. Meet my latest additions. I can't wait to see them when they get bigger.... Ahhh! I LOVE plants hostas!
