Visiting G'ma Cat March 2011

I had a long weekend off work so we decided to take a little trip to MN/IA to see G'ma Cat (deBoer).  Shawn took Friday off school so we could make the most of our time.  Aunt Janna graciously let us stay at their house.  Was really nice because visiting at the nursing home is hard...especially with kids!

We picked G'ma up on the way and got to Aunt Janna's early afternoon.  They were not home yet but we made ourselves at home and waited for them.  Evan and Isaac were home so the boys played their electronic games and wrestled.  Mason played catch with G'ma with a decorative wooden ball (shhh don't tell Janna)...such good memories!

Saturday the boys all took turns riding the 4-wheeler and snowmobile.  Daddy fixed a thing or two on the snowmobile to get it running which tickled the boys pink!

All in all it was WONDERFUL to get away from home for a bit and visit with G'ma and the Williams.  Thanks again Aunt Janna!!!!!!

Mason making himself at home by raiding the cabinets....  Why do we buy the kids toys again?

Harvesting grapes directing out of the bag.  New JD toy G'maCat bought him at Walmart.

Helping Mom make a German chocolate cake.

Playing catch with G'ma.  She was delighted!

Just getting comfy...don't mind me....

Picture courtesy of Aunt Janna.  All the boys "gaming".  See how Mason and Isaac's tongues are hanging out?!

Aunt Janna, G'ma and Mom working on their sewing.

Mason loved loved LOVED this cat!  This cat maybe didn't love Mason but he was a good great sport!  Mason carried him from place to place.  Wherever the cat was "dropped off" he would sit and purr and purr.

Feel See the love?

Lovin on Tipper too

Shawn snowmobiling...I think it was close to the time of his life to drive by HIMSELF!

He is in there somewhere...
thanks for providing the brain bucket Isaac!

Mason took rides on the 4-wheeler and snowmobile too, but then he found the cats!  He tried to carry them in the porch (he doesn't like being cold) but it was too long a walk.

See the snot bubble!?  lol!

It was such a nice and easy going weekend, Thanks again for coming. I just smile when I think of how our boys (dork included) spent time together.
