Great Grandma deBoer gave us a small chair which he loves! Its the perfect small fit for a corner...so we named it the "time out" chair. He sits there, he cries, but he sits there. Somedays I think being an "auntie al" was easier. Less rewarding though!!!
p.s. Momma and Daddy cry too...:( Its a crummy job, but someone has to do it.

oh, the wonderful time-outs... someday our kids will understand that it hurts us more than it hurts them! i took a photo of cole's first time-out; he looked so small in the chair (just one of our living room chairs) and a wee bit confused. he didn't cry for that one :)
It is hard but starting early is soooo much easier than when they are school age. I see it all the time and....ugh =-(
But discipline doesn't get any easier as they get older.
