Long due updates...

04-15-10:  Mason has taken his first steps.  We were all down in Granny's house working with Mason trying to get him to take a few steps...a he took right off taking us by surprise!  5 steps!!!  Good job Lil Peanut!   We called Shawn and told him right away.  He was even more excited than me I think...if thats believable!  Mason is talking more and more too!  "Ma-Mom", Daaaaad!", and "all done" are his most used (understood) words.   Since the this last trip to Iowa (they are there right now) he learned how to climb stairs, and suck out of a straw.

04-17-10:  Happy 58th Birthday Mom (Granny). We love you & appreciate you (not to mention NEED you) bunches and bunches!

04-20-10:  Happy Birthday to my sister, AKA Auntie Kara!  We love you & are thankful for you and your family's closeness to ours!

Misc:  Granny has been working on her house.  Changing, rearranging and such.  Here are some cute spontaneous pics Granny and I took of Mason one evening when we needed a "break" (dt. mt. dew! :)

The lawn is green and the gardens are shooting up.  Chris has been feeding the grass, and the rest of us have been killing weeds and getting the gardens in order for a beautiful summer.  I LOVE HASTAS!  I love to go out and try to find all the lil shoots coming up...Shawn does too!, and Mason is learning not to eat the grass and flowers...  LOL!
